The Beginning
In 2005, Sergei Kaminskiy and his wife, Elena, opened a small handyman company with a straightforward goal: do honest work, communicate clearly, and treat every home with respect. They started small, operating from a one-bedroom apartment and doing the hard work of earning each new customer.
That early focus on discipline and customer experience became the foundation for everything that followed. Over time, the work expanded from one-off fixes to ongoing maintenance and improvement, because property owners don’t just need a technician. They need a reliable, repeatable way to keep their properties in good shape.
From Service To System
Many handyman operations struggle for one reason: everything lives in the owner’s head. When the owner is booked, the business stalls. When a technician changes, quality becomes inconsistent. And when scheduling gets messy, the customer experience suffers.
We built Kaminskiy Care and Repair to be the opposite. As demand grew, we documented what works, then turned real-world experience into a structured playbook that supports repeatable outcomes.

Why We Started Franchising
In 2022, we began franchising with a simple intent: help qualified owners bring a higher standard of home maintenance and repair to their local markets, without having to reinvent operations from scratch.
Franchising is not about shortcuts. It’s about reducing trial-and-error by providing a documented model, training, and tools that support a consistent customer experience. Results vary by market and operator, but the goal stays the same: help you run a professional operation built for long-term growth.
- Structured operations to reduce chaos and improve follow-through
- Support and training to shorten the learning curve
- Marketing resources to help you build local awareness (market results vary)
- Territory focus designed around practical local growth
